Hailing from the Worcester outskirts of Hudson, Ma Singuya broke into the scene in 2005 with their debut EP, Beat it Seaguls. Having carried themselves through countless shows in basements, backyards and bodegas the band stepped it up in '07 and began playing larger venues including headlining shows at The Lucky Dog & Tammany Hall in Worcester,Ma - Harper's Ferry & T.T the Bear's in Boston, Ma and opening for some bigger names like The Lemonheads and Graveyard BBQ.

From their new album to their live shows Singuya takes The Talking Heads, Sublime & the Dead Milkmen's sounds mixes them up in a bucket and serves them up with a little Boom, Explosive and "The Sex" on top.

The band's latest album, Bet On Red(2008), merges Boomhowa's saw-toothed lyrics with jangling guitars, up front bass and to the point percussion to slap together some seriously inspired creations while turning out their most exhilarating album to date.

With standout tracks like "Sweet Sanity," "The Raft," & "Fall Hiva" the music of Singuya is an essential addition to any music library and a must see live show.
